As a result of resident observed traffic safety concerns along Majestic Pines Drive, the Royal Shores Community Association Board has been asked to request a traffic study by the City of Houston’s Neighborhood Traffic Management Program (NTMP). Participating in a traffic study would provide a comprehensive approach to identify traffic problems along Majestic Pines Drive and if necessary, provide solutions to reduce cut-through and excessive speeding.
The application process for the traffic study involves measuring community support. Endorsing the study does not indicate a specific mitigation plan but only support for completion of a study.
So that the Board can determine the level of community support for a traffic study, all Royal Shores’ residents will have the opportunity to sign the application between September 8 through 22, 2020. The application will be available at the Kingwood Association Management office at 1075 Kingwood Drive #100, Kingwood, TX. Hours of operation are Monday - Friday 9am – 5 pm. The Board will consider the application for the traffic study at their next meeting on Thursday, September 24, 2020.
